Runway is more useful when it shows timing, obligations, and assumptions rather than a single optimistic number.
Start with timing
List expected customer payments, vendor bills, payroll, taxes to reserve for review, subscriptions, and owner draws on the dates they are expected to move.
Create scenario bands
A baseline, delayed-collection case, and lower-sales case are usually more useful than one forecast presented as certain.
